0601 -- My alarm goes off. I was finally cleared to exercise and I'm excited about finally getting to it. I just wish I wasn't so dang tired.
0613 -- Day one of Jillian Michaels Beginner Shred
0642 -- Done. And I'm pretty sure I'm dying or just really out of shape. I guess I did just have a baby two months ago. So now while the hubs showers (he did it with me) I put up my blog and wait my turn.
0650 -- Shower time!!
0707 -- I was hoping to lay back down but Connor is awake and hungry. Normally he sleeps later but with getting up earlier in the the middle of the night it kind of makes sense.
0749 -- He doesn't seem to be feeling very good so we do some cuddling while waiting for big sis to wake up.
0916 -- I fell asleep wit Connor in bed. Addie wakes me up with a "tickle tickle." I guess it's time to get up and get everyone dressed.
0929 -- Breakfast all around and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Apparently Connor is going to snack all day long today.
1010 -- Off to run errands
1051 -- Home again. I told Addison if she followed my directions and was good then she cold watch something. She chose Monsters University again. Connor is less pleased but I have to put away groceries so he has to deal for a couple minutes. He's mostly just exhausted.
1104 -- Addie's got her movie. Connor finally fell asleep. So I'm going to read for a bit.
1111 -- I didn't make it long before I struggled to understand what I was reading and keep my eyes open. So with Addison still watching Monsters and Connor still asleep I close my eyes for a few minutes.
1153 -- Getting lunch together, mostly just reheating fries and putting leftovers on plates from the Cheesecake Factory.
1203 -- Someone else got hungry too.
1235 -- Little boy is exhausted and finally falls asleep in my arms. Addison meanwhile is begging for Monsters, Inc. Since it's a cloudy day and I'm holding an exhausted boy I'm inclined to say yes.
1243 -- The DVD player decided to stop working and Connor woke up.
1255 -- Addie went to the bathroom and unbeknownst to me the toilet was clogged and the bathroom flooded. But of course by this point I have a baby strapped to me so the best I can do is throw down towels and move whatever I can. (Sorry no picture of the crisis since I was in the middle of handling the crisis - why does this kind of thing always happen on Mondays or Marine weekends?!) But hey at least Connor is finally sleeping.
1339 -- I make some phone calls and get some appointments scheduled while Addison plays and Connor continues to sleep (and by back is aching by now too). Then I do a little straightening. There is only so much deep cleaning you can do while you have a baby strapped to your front.
1530 -- Connor woke up. Apparently so did I after a short snooze. Addie is happily playing cars. But we all got hungry so snack time.
1641 -- Addie decided it was time for a dance party with Olaf and Connor decided to sleep again.
1653 -- More play time.
1730 -- Daddy's home. The best kind of play time.
1738 -- Time to make dinner. It's a little later because I wasn't about to move a sleeping baby. Nothing is more stressful than trying to cook while a baby is screaming at you and a three year old is repeatedly telling you that a baby is screaming at you.
1806 -- Dinner time
1828 -- Dinner is over. I have to do the dishes but first I'm listening to Addie read off her placemat for me.
1837 -- Dishes are done. Now I have to put the bathroom back together since I don't have a baby attached anymore. Addie is back to playing while the hubs feeds Connor again.
1847 -- The family that relaxes together and all does their own thing....
1900 -- Time to turn on the Royals game and Addie requested a board game with Daddy. Connor is just hanging out awake.
1918 -- Bored of the game and back to more play time.
1945 -- The hubs takes Addie up to get ready for bed.
2013 -- Connor's turn for bedtime.
2045 -- Connor's in bed - a little later than normal but he's down and I can go back to watching the Royals and reading. Meanwhile Rob is working on some Marine stuff.
2230 -- We head upstairs for bed.
