It's a murder. It's a mystery. It's a murder mystery!

Rob and I took a ride on the Murder Mystery Train last night. We went to Californos in Wesport, and I must say not a fan of Wesport. Once we got there and downstairs, we were seated with six other people we didn't know. We got a packet with information and clues that we weren't supposed to look at until they told us. The three main actors walked around, introducing themselves to everyone and giving us all alias. Now if you ever do this, you might want to walk into this with an alias already picked out. We did not come up with an alias and therefore became Aunt Jamima and Uncle Ben. That's what we get for trusting him.

Finally it starts and they are setting the stage and getting it going. We're on a train going form Kansas City to Independence. There are seven suspects - four which were seated among us (basically they picked four people to play four different parts along the way) - and three were the main actors. Inbetween the gaps they served food, which wasn't bad, and we got to work on our clues which were basically just puzzles that were supposed to help us.

In the middle, Jonas (one of the actors) died by strangled and Hamish (a " brownie") came in to report and then begins the mystery. We have to figure who did it and why and how. By the end of it, we have to take a guess about who did it and why and how and our supporting evidence.

It was pretty good. We had a good evening all in all. It was a lot of fun and I would recommend it. It was fun.
