Ingredients:
Cinnamon
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 sticks butter
2 granny smith apples
2 tubes crescent rolls
12 ounce Mountain Dew - I used Sprite because someone - not naming any names - was supposed to leave me a Mountain Dew but forgot so I made due.
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Peel and slice apples and wrap in a triangle of the crescent dough. Place in sprayed pan.
Melt the 2 sticks of butter then add sugar and vanilla and mix.
Pour mixture over wrapped apples. Pour 12 ounces of Mountain Dew over apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Cook at 350 for 30-40 minutes, but keep on eye on them depending on your oven.
Serve with vanilla ice cream.
So the censuses? Delicious. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but this was truly delicious. The funny part is that I was all prepared to not like it, so when I took my first bite I was very pleasantly surprised. Definitely a good, warm fall meal.
