Book two of Sookie Stackhouse completed! And because book two is done, book six is also done! It's a win win situation! I really am just blowing right through these books now, aren't I? What can I say, I love books?
Sookie is back again and this time she is being loaned out to Dallas where one of the local vampires have gone missing and they want him found. Sookie and Bill head out there and are able to track down the origins of the kidnapping to a group called the Fellowship of the Sun. The Fellowship of the Sun is a group that is anti-vampire and do their life's work fighting against vampires and killing them. But this time they have a very old vampire that is willingly wanting to "meet the dawn" (aka stay out after dawn and die) for his crimes. But the problem is that he is going to take down this other vampire with him, by orders from the Fellowship.
Sookie finds herself going to the Fellowship to figure out if she can find the missing vampire with another human, who is part of the inner circle in Dallas. But the thing is that she has been betrayed and before she knows it she is trapped in the basement at the Fellowship trying desperately to figure out how to get out before they possibly tie her to one of the vampire and burn her alive at dawn.

Thrilling book. Not the more educated or insightful reading. But hey this is still a book and I'm still enjoying it, so just deal with it! Ha. Just kidding. I'm looking forward to reading the next one. In fact, I think I'll go start that right now.
