How 'Bout Them Reads: All Together Dead (Sookie Stackhouse #7)

I had a slight hiatus from reading as quickly as I was. I've had a lot going on, but that's neither here nor there. But I will tell you that I finished another book. Number 14 in my Reading Challenge and number 7 in the Sookie Stackhouse series.

Sookie is summed to a summit in Rhodes with the vampire. Louisiana just faced issues after Hurricane Katrina took out the large vampire community. And all of it came at a horrible time with the queen of Louisiana being put on trial for the death of her husband, the king of Arkansas. Which is where Sookie comes in. She is supposed to come and make sure there is nothing going on that could hurt the queen.

The mystery starts when the vampires who are accusing the queen are killed in a bloodbath. But she still ends up on trial anyway, which all ends in her favor. But with all the other things going on, Sookie still can't shake the feeling that there is something else going on. Which her and Barry (the other telepath) figure out just minutes before the explosions begin. And all Sookie wants at this point is just to get home to her small town and have nothing to do with the supernatural world for awhile.

It was pretty good. I don't really remember ever reading this book before, but I'm pretty sure this was the last one I read before I stopped reading the series. It as pretty good. It was probably one of my favorites because it was exciting and as the reader you can feel that there was something more going on, but you're weren't quite sure what it was. It was pretty good and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
