Hookay, so you may have heard of me - I'm commonly known as "The Hubs". No, you are incorrect, this is not Becca - I know I may have fooled you. Welcome to the first ever "Guest Blog" for Defying Gravity. Yes, I have been coerced into writing against my will and all good sense - I apologize to all of you who must read this in advance.
Really, this should be a short blog - Becca took care of 99% of everything from flowers to the planning to the wedding part (with the help of some very helpful parental figures of course). I, however, was just technical support - it's a wedding, I've got no preference for flowers, fancities and whatnot and tuxes don't come in many varieties so there wasn't a lot for me to worry about.
I helped a little with the save-the-dates and invitations. Cake tasting was delicious. Tux fitting was not altogether taxing. Planning the honeymoon was fun. I think that about sums it up.
My favorite parts were the honeymoon closely followed by the cake. Did you have any cake? Then you obviously understand. Aside from the initial trouble getting out there the honeymoon was perfect too - which you can revisit here. I mean come on, how is watching all four Die Hards not romantic?
Both Becca and I agree that we couldn't have asked for a better wedding, it was well-planned and went off without a hitch. Thanks to everybody that helped make it a wonderful day that we'll never forget!
