Gaby, mother of four and widow, is getting remarried on Christmas day. The catch? Nobody but her knows who the groom is. Including the groom. Three men proposed to her and now she is keeping the one she chose a secret until the big day. Her children and their families all head into town for the big day, which might be even bigger than the event itself because they all hadn't been in the same place at the same time since Gaby's husband died three years before. And now it is becoming an event of a lifetime and one that no one will soon forget.
I know I shouldn't basis my review and summary of the book on how I felt about the book, but let's just be honest, I didn't really feel this book deserved any more of my time than it already got. I had expected something more because it was written by James Patterson, but maybe he should stick with mystery books. The writing was seriously lacking and the story was basic and frustrating at time. Definitely not one going on my favorites list. In fact, I'm definitely happy to be done with it.
