She decides to take the job Leo offered her and not to tell Andy the truth about how she ended up with the job. But her secret does come out to her sister when they go together on the trip and Leo turns up in L.A. with them. Ellen realizes her clean break isn't going the way she wants it to, and crosses a line when they end up on the same flight back.
But she decides to move forward with her life when she gets back to New York and go along with Andy and what he wants, and before she knows it she's in Atlanta. And bored out of her mind. She's unhappy with the way their life is going, she's unhappy with the way her life is going. And she tries to clear her mind completely of Leo, but somehow he finds a way to creep back in. And before she knows it, he has crept back into her life and how she has to decide what she really wants. Does she follow her head or her heart? Does she stay with her husband or flee her current life for one with her old love?
It was pretty good. I have read almost all of Emily Giffin books now, and I have enjoyed all of them. This one for some reason took me awhile to get through. It wasn't that I didn't enjoy it, but more that I kept getting distracted. I'm glad to be finished (one book closer now!) and glad I stuck with it, despite my wandering mind. I really did enjoy it though. And I look forward to reading her newest book out.
