I have always been extremely proud of Rob. He's superman. He's an amazing husband. He'll be an amazing father. He takes on the world. He works full-time to Garmin - ya know, one of those jobs for those people who are really smart and know more than the rest of us. : ) He's an officer in the Marines, which is not really a part-time job. It always seems like there is more than plenty to do not on drill weekends. Then after he does all that, he deals with his crazy, pregnant wife (yup, that's me!). Like I said superman.
But that's not why we're here. I could talk about how amazing my husband is forever, but we're here because a certain event has taken place recently. Don't you wish I would just come right out and say these things? Well, he's been promoted. Which now makes the hubs a Captain (previously a 1st Lieutenant for those who don't know). Which makes me even more proud. Every time I tell him I'm proud of him, he just shrugs. In fact, I was surprised he was okay with me
boasting posting about the promotion. I think it's exciting news and he deserves a little recognition for all he does. How could I not be proud of him?
And for those of you who think like me - no, this doesn't mean he can marry people now. Apparently that's a different kind of Captain : ) I know, I was disappointed too!
