Felice is the art director at Your Wedding and has jumped on board with the all the changes happening at Your Wedding. She's excited about everything that is going on at work. However, her worries about home tend to overlap her everyday life. Her son is going down a scary path and she is helpless to stop him. And she feels she is constantly pushing her husband away, and that too is out of her hands. She wonders if she can get her home life back together before it destroys everything she has worked so hard to build.
Sara, the fashion editor at Your Wedding, is less excited about the changes happening at the magazine. She fights it every step of the way, not wanting a thing to change. She likes her job and she likes things the way they are, and she can't understand why things need to change at all. She works hard to put up a tough-front, but on the inside she is lonely and sad. She has a great family and knows that she is incredibly lucky with all that she has. But what she really wants is love. She really wants a wedding of her own and to be in one of those dresses she is picking out for brides everywhere.

Honestly, this book was a bit slow to start. But I tend to start slower in books anyway. It definitely wasn't that I didn't enjoy it, but if you start enough books then you see a pattern and before long one book starting is just like any other. But as the book went on, I started to get into it more and started to really enjoy it. I wanted to see where the lives of these women were going and how they were going to work through whatever issues and problems they were having. All of those issues and problems were ones that anyone could relate to. We have all been in one of these women's places at one point or another. I enjoyed this book for the realism it brought, so as a reader you could really understand at least one of these women's stories.
