It is always nice to see two people who are meant to be together get married. It was a beautiful wedding, and turned out to be a beautiful day (even know we had been in the middle of an extreme heat wave).
This year we hosted Thanksgiving, which seemed crazy since we just had a baby. But that's exactly why we did it. It was nice to have everyone together. We also got some great family pictures.
It was just as delicious a year later as on our wedding day, even though we never actually had any on the day. It was delicious and also a great way to celebrate moving in.
#7: Rob gets promoted
I am so crazy proud of Rob. Always have, always will be. He was promoted to Captain from 1st Lt. He'll be modest about it and shrug it off, but he's superman and deserves it.
#6: It's a girl!
I would have been thrilled either way, although I did lose the bet. But I could care less. I was thrilled to find out we were going to have a daughter.
#5: Moving in
On our one year wedding anniversary, we moved into our new house. I was 21 weeks pregnant, so I didn't actually do much moving and it was crazy hot, but it was awesome finally getting to move in after buying the house two months before.

We found we were pregnant at the end of February, and it was surreal. The news never really sunk in until October 15 though. : )
#3: Addie's first smile
Infant don't do much but eat, sleep, cry, and poop. But when she smiled at me, ti was amazing. She recognized me, looked right at me, and gave me the biggest smile.
#2: Sold [Buying a house]
This was huge for us. But amazing! It all happened so fast. We looked at the house, we made an offer, we bough. It was quick and a major moment for us. We picked the house we wanted to raise our family in and where we wanted to grow old together in (or at least until we can't walk up and down stairs anymore -- there are a lot of stairs in this house).
#1: Addison Sophia
Is anyone surprised? Seriously? My beautiful daughter was born Monday, October 15 at 5:37 pm. She was 6 pounds 5.2 ounces and 19.5 inches. Childbirth was nothing like what I expected to be honest. That day was the best day and worth the hard nine months previous. It was all forgotten when I finally got to hold my little girl. Life hasn't been the same and never will again, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
