I Heard That Song Before
Mary Higgins Clark
Kay Lansing remember spending time at the Carringtons' mansion when she was a little girl and her father was the landscaping. But she had no idea that she would one day be the lady of the house there. After a whirlwind romance with Peter Carrington, they are married and start their lives together. But it is quickly disrupted by Peter's arrest in a murder that happened twenty-two years ago. Now Kay, convinced of her husband's innocence in this murder and a couple others including Kay's father, is searching for answers that will free her husband and put the real killer behind bars.
I haven't yet met a Mary Higgins Clark book I didn't like. I enjoy her books. She always makes her books exciting to read. They are quick-paced and thrilling. This one definitely kept me guessing all the way to the end. There is just something so enjoyable about getting drawn into her characters and stories and trying to find out the truth before it is revealed to you at the end. To me, that makes a good book.
