Oye With the Hair

I have struggled with my hair for as long as I can remember. It's too thin to do anything. It doesn't stay up in a ponytail too well because it's too thin. I can't straighten it because it doesn't seem to keep the straightness to it. I was always afraid of a curling iron so I never curled it (although I have since gotten over that fear and I'm trying to curl it more). I have never liked my hair. It's just frustrating.

But since getting pregnant and having Addison, it seemed to have gotten worse. It's even thinner. I'm losing hair again (I hate massive hair loss - stress? Although I can't figure out what I'm actually stressed about!). It seemed to be a greasier. I can't find a shampoo that doesn't make it more oily. I feel like I'm in a no win situation.

So I did the only thing that I could think of. And no, I didn't cut. I'm trying to grow my hair out, although I could use a trim. I dyed it. I mean, why not? Probably not the best solution but too late now.

So, I'm back to black....

And yes, I know I look tired. That's probably because I am...
Although to be fair, the black hair was a little bit of an accident. The color I chose was "darkest ash brown." I guess they were right, it was darkest, but other than the couple strands I missed from dyeing my own hair, there's no brown. They lied! That's okay. I've done black before. It matched my eyebrows better. I like it. Rob likes it. I guess that's what matters.

I just needed a hair pick-me-up while I figure out what I'm going to do about the mop on my head. I've also been curling it more and that definitely helps give it more body which I'm loving. If I only I could find the right shampoo...
