As Night Settles // Happy Friday

Each evening as the darkness starts to settle over the house, things come to life. Firetrucks, helicopters, race cars, penguins, elephants, and lions. It's our own personal Toy Story. One by one, they each come to life, say their good night, before silence falls over the house again.

It's a bit creepy.

But certainly not as creepy as when you walk into the family room and a toy is randomly lighting up and playing some song that in the light of day isn't creepy but in the loneliness and quiet of night is straight out of a horror movie.

But I digress...

Throughout the evening if the puzzle pieces of trains, planes, and automobiles or parrots, snakes, and monkeys aren't put back in their proper place then the zoo and vehicular garage comes to life at random.

It's incredibly strange.

But hey that's life with a toddler. You have a million toys that make noises at random. Creepy creepy! But hey I can't complain when those same annoying, noisy toys keep the kid entertained.
