Three on the Third

1. Stella has a weird obsession with Rob's worn shirts. She loves it when the laundry basket is full of clean clothes (yes I'll confess I don't always immediately put away the clean folded clothes) and we just throw our dirty clothes into the spot where our laundry basket goes. She burrows into his shirt happy as a clam. She used to sleep on his uniforms and I always thought it was just an uniform thing but turns out it's all of Rob's clothes. She cares nothing about my clothes or Addie's clothes. It's just clothes worn by Rob for the day.

2. We went to the zoo last week with my parents while they were watching my nieces. It was cloudy and not so great weather but the rain stayed off until early afternoon. We had a good time though. I didn't get a lot of pictures from the day (the rain kept the camera tucked away) but I got a few pictures. One of my favorite things about my kid (okay so everything is a favorite but this one makes me chuckle) is that when I pull out a camera and bend down to her level, she pulls out a smile for me. The kid is learning the art of self-portraits (I just can't call them selfies).

3. Addie has a weird game that she plays. She may or may not have learned this game from me, I will neither confirm nor deny that fact. She backs up then runs at your screaming before "jumping" on you. She really just puts her head on you if you are sitting on the couch or bed, but actually jumps into your arms if you are sitting on the ground. It is stinkin' cute.
