Six on the Sixth

1. Fridays are pizza night in our household. On this pizza night we were having Papa John's and when we eat PJ, we eat in the living room. On this Friday we were watching the Royals game and Addie was watching Netflix on the iPad while sitting in her little rocking chair. I told her to eat her pizza and put down the iPad. So she puts the iPad on the floor, grabs her pizza and sits in her rocking chair eating. After awhile I hear the iPad. I thought I had been ignored but in fact she had left it playing on the floor and was still eating her pizza. She had taken what I said and followed my directions - she put it down, I never said turn it off, and she was eating her pizza. Apparently I need to be more careful of what I say because she might take me literally.

2. Whenever Addie wants to play with Rob, she will run to me and ask me if daddy can play ball or can daddy play cars or can daddy play baseball. I always tell her to ask daddy and not me but she keeps doing it. Some might say that she knows who runs the house and gives permission....I won't....but some might say that....

3. I laughed for a ridiculous amount of time over this post: I Break Stuff from April 2014. It's so true because I have broken countless more things since I wrote that post and have gone through a couple of computers. I'm a hot mess.

4. One of my favorite days of the week is Wednesday because that my Blue Apron delivery day!

5. When I sing Addison to sleep at night (Rock-a-Bye Baby), I noticed she would whisper. I finally discovered the other day that she was whispering, " Good night Mom. Good night Dad." Sweetest kid ever.

6. We had our first bunch the other day and I got my first ever Egg Benedict. I had always wanted to try it and we finally found a place to have it at. It was delicious. I always imagined the yolk to be runny and it wasn't so that was a little disappointing but it was still delicious.

On another note, because it's now June and things get a bit crazy in the summer and whatnot, I'm switching to three days a week posting. There will be an occasional Tuesday, Thursday post but mostly I'm going to Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule. So be sure to come back on Wednesday this week and have a great Tuesday!
