Eight on the Eighth // Happy Friday

1. I read a ton of blogs and I enjoy doing so but I have been neglecting it lately telling myself I would get to it later. Finally last week I sat down and started going through them. It felt like it took me forever but I finally got it done and I'm all caught up.

2. Addison is a very literal kid. I have on more than on occasion said something and she has done literally what I said and not what I meant. The funniest one was definitely about a month ago when she wanted to play on the computer. She asked Rob and he told her to ask me. She ran to me, asked me then ran back to Rob and told him that she asked me. We laughed for a long time. He didn't tell her that I had to say yes or that I even had to answer. She's not being difficult, she's just very literal.

3. On our way down to Orange Beach, the first day of traveling we stopped at about 11pm for gas and a bathroom run. The kids were both sleeping by this point so it was going to be quick. When we got the gas station I went inside first but the women's bathroom was out of order. As I walked in I noticed there was a group of guys standing outside smoking - mind you the pumps were right next to the store - so I just hoped we got out of there before one of them blew the place up. So we decided to go to McDonalds for me to use the bathroom. When we pulled into McD's, we noticed a car had tried to drive through the store. I ran into the bathroom and when I came out they were closing the place and there were state patrol and fire trucks everywhere. Needless to say, we won't be stopping in that town again.

4. On that same trip, as it pushed closer to 2 in the morning, we were still driving and I noticed a road sign that said HILL. That was all it said. We have no clue what was so special about that hill but it's probably my favorite road sign ever!

5. I am losing my hair by the handfuls. It is actually awful. Every time I turn around there is hair somewhere. This is definitely the worst postpartum thing for me.

6. The Time Hop app is keeping track of how many days I look at it. I don't understand why.

7. Formula is stupid expensive. It is insane how much money we have spent on it just in four months.

8. I now use the Tide Pods for my laundry and I love it! They are so easy and make way less of a mess. I have no idea if they are more expensive or what but I love them and I doubt I'll go back. Laundry is sucky enough and somehow I always make a big mess with the soap and this seems to have at least fixed one of my problems.
