If you have looked at a calendar you will have noticed we are into February which means a new month in my bullet journal. I didn't exactly blog a lot about bullet journaling in the last year but I want to add a little more about it this year because I really have enjoyed my bullet journal and it really helps me keep my head on straight.
I shared some of these pictures last month but if I'm sharing them again then that just means they are my favorite. I really love how my first page in January turned out. Like I said last month I didn't draw that, but used tracing paper (a life-saver for those of us that can't draw but want to add a little extra in a journal) and a picture off the internet.
I used a pretty simple layout for my dailies. I really didn't want anything fancy. I did stick with a blue color scheme during the month of January and I also used pictures I found online of snowy scenes to add into some layouts just for something extra.
Last bullet journal I used more stickers and such which add a lot of bulk to it and made it really hard to use as we got to the end of the journal. I did like it although there was a lot more into doing a setup each day.
I used this meal plan layout for my last few bullet journal because sometimes you just stick with what works. I again add some pictures to these and sometimes I used stamps because I have really enjoyed doing more stamping.
I was so excited to set up February especially since I loved how January turned out, but there are several things that I just don't love as much about February. I do love the otter because he's just plain cute, but I wished I had used different font or maybe it was my tracing ability that didn't turn out so great. I also don't love where I placed the hearts but that's okay I still like it overall.
My plan heading into February was just the same I liked my daily layouts before so I wanted to do the same as before with some pictures and such scattered in. It just adds a little fun and some character into my bullet journal.
In case you didn't know the winter Olympics starts on Friday and I am pretty excited so I put together a spread so follow when certain sports are on so I know when what I want to watch is on. I had a lot of trouble figuring out how to put this layout together because of spaces I have and I actually had to leave out hockey on the list of events, which is fine because I don't care about hockey and it's on everyday but this was a bit of a pain to put together.
So that's about where we are at this point. There's not much to this month yet. This is definitely my favorite bullet journal so far. It's been fun to put together and I look forward to more spreads and more months in this journal.
I'm still figuring out how to bullet journal so I appreciate the inspiration!
