Three Ladies & Their Gents: Summer 2019 Edition

Rob

At this very moment he's a bit sunburned but otherwise he's doing pretty good. He's been busy with work as always. Turns out when you work a 9-5 Monday-Friday job, you pretty much spend your time working. That's how that works. But he's doing well and just doing his thing. He is busier than all of us - which I say only because he leaves the house every single day - but he also has the least that changes about him. So take that as you want and go with it.

Becca

I have been pretty busy with all things shop lately. I am just about to reopen the shop after having it closed for two weeks with a new format on my kit and with new foil options with my new script stickers. I'm pretty excited about how things are going with my shop and it's keeping me busy without completely overloading me at the same time. I can't complain too much about that. I've been lacking on my blog lately but that's partly due to the fact that what I want out of my blog has changed over the years. Not to mention running a business and being a stay at home mom to three (especially in the summer) means you stay really really busy.

Addison

Addison finished her first ever swim lesson back in June and loved it. She's not quite a fish but she's not afraid of the water and can put her face in so I feel like that's progress. I think she's looking forward to school a little bit after realizing how boring we are here at home. She's reading like a champ though. She's really doing a great job all around with all that she's doing to keep herself busy this summer. She definitely suffers from the oldest curse where the other two get more attention because they demand more of us, but she's patient and hanging in while we navigate the rough stages of her siblings.

Connor

I don't know what to say about Connor other than he is very very three. He wears me out. He is constantly in motion. He fights back. He has his own opinions. He's just all over the place. But we are trying our best to get through the three year old stage (which is definitely way way worse than the terrible twos). He's been very trying lately and takes a lot of my energy. But he's hilarious and is just a lot of fun in [almost] everything he does.

Emma

She takes the other half of my energy. Right now we are teething which is taking a lot out of both her and me. She currently has two teeth and is working on at least one more if not two. She's been so out of whack and just not quite herself. Sometimes she's as happy and easy as can be and other times she is a mess and cranky. But she's right where she should be. She's sitting up. She's "talking." She's eating solids now (she's loving the apples as of late). She's just doing really well. It's just this teething that has us down.

Stella

Oh Stella. What can I say about Stella cat?! She is something already. She is still doing well. She's not really losing weight like she should be even with her limited wet diet. But she is getting older which makes it harder to lose weight, plus she's a cat and they aren't known for running around for exercise. But she's find. She's about 11 years old now and she's definitely a bit grumpy. But she loves us and still hate everyone else. She knows when dinner time is and starts bugging us the minute it even starts to get dark. She sleeps next to me all night but always tries to get Rob to pet her earlier in the night nonstop. She's walks into Connor's room in the morning and almost always gets herself trapped, but she does a walk of each of the kids rooms at night before they go to bed like she's checking their rooms. She's a good cat.
