Ingredients:
1/2 pound elbow macaroni
4 cups shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided
1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
Spray the crock pot well with cook spray. Otherwise you'll have a sticking problem on your hands.
Mix evaporated milk, milk, egg, and Worcestershire sauce in a large bowl.
Mix in 3 cups of Cheddar Cheese and elbow macaroni.
Pour into crock pot and sprinkle remaining cup of cheese on top.
Cook on low for 5-6 hours. Do not stir and do not remove the lid.
And for the Crescent Roll Sandwiches. There aren't a lot of specifics that go with this meal. So I'll give you the gist. Get a thing of crescent rolls and divide them in half, leaving two triangles connected. Roll them out then put whatever you want on them. We chose turkey and cheese then you roll them up and pop them in the oven on 375 for about 10 minutes. Leave them in until they are golden brown.
So my feelings on this meal? Not happy ones. I think the sandwiches are more of a guy's meal for one they are huge and two just not my thing. In theory you can put whatever you want on them so maybe if I tried something else. I had a bit of an issue with it because even though we put turkey on it, I actually tasted like ham. Rob liked it though. And as the mac & cheese, if we are going to make our own then I want to keep looking because I really really didn't care for these at all. So it was kinda a blah night for food, but those happen.
