How to Boil Water: Crescent Roll Calzones

So I wasn't planning on using so many crescent rolls this week and definitely not in a row but seeing as it is Friday that we have to have fun food (Fun Food Friday!), we are having a pizza-like food tonight. But you know us we like to make our own and save us some money so we're trying a new form of pizza. Plus they were pretty easy. But maybe I should leave the pizza-like making to the professionals.

Ingredients:
1 roll of crescent rolls
Pepperoni
Mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup pizza sauce
Garlic powder
Dried oregano
Dried basil

Directions:
Heat oven to 375. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.

Unroll dough and separate into 4 rectangles; press each into 7x4-inch rectangles, firmly pressing perforations to seal. - I just divided them like I did with the meal yesterday and so we just had two.

Spread 1 tablespoon sauce on each. Place four slices of pepperoni on top of sauce. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons cheese over sauce and pepperoni. - You can really do this any way you want. You can add what you want. You can put them on in the order that you want. If you want more pepperoni then have it at. I think that this recipe called for the big pepperoni but I bought the small ones so I put on way more. You can have fun with this part.

Fold dough over over filling; firmly press edges with fork to seal.

Sprinkle the top with garlic powder, dried oregano, dried basil.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until gold brown.

So they may not be the prettiest and I might have made a mess making it, but it was my first time so give me a break. But we both really liked this meal. It was so easy and it was actually really good. I highly recommend it. I liked it much better than the sandwiches last night. You should try it.
