Here's What You Need:
Cinnamon
Sugar
Apple
Here's What You Do:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Mix some cinnamon and sugar. (I didn't measure, but just mix some together.)
Core an apple. Slice it into thin slices. (I used my mandolin but you definitely just use a knife if you don't have one. I love my mandolin and we were just now on speaking terms after almost slicing my thumb off a few weeks ago.)
Sprinkle about half of the cinnamon and sugar mixture on parchment paper that is lining a baking sheet.
Lay out the apple slices in a single layer on the parchment paper on the cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon and sugar on the apple slices.
Bake in the oven for and hour and a half. Turn the baking sheet then bake for an hour longer. Let cool on parchment paper for 10 minutes.
They weren't bad actually. Not exactly what I was expecting, but they were pretty good. Pretty simple to make. Pretty simple to explain. Pretty simple all around.
