Making the Cut: 6W6P -- All Done!

If we are being completely honest then I'll tell you that I wasn't sure I was going to survive this workout. I wasn't sure I was going to make it through. I really thought this was going to be the one that was the end of me. I was sure that this was going to be the one workout that I just quit on. I really did. But I kept pushing through. I kept pushing and pushing and I made it. Six weeks, two levels, exhaustion, a sore body and a mean and rude Jillian Michaels - and I survived it all! Although just barely.

Level one was a lot of floor work and even more plank work. It was hard but nothing like level two. Level two was almost too much for me. Level two was almost all standing work. It was almost all with a weight. It almost all involved lunges. It was way more than a just an ab workout. It was a full body workout. I was completely sore pretty much every day. I struggled with catching my breath. I struggled with willing myself to keep moving. I just plain struggled. But I endured and I completed all three weeks of that dreaded level! And for that I'm pretty proud of myself.

I'm feeling pretty split about this workout as a whole. I really hated it. I thought it was terrible. It was hard. JM was a bit mean - meaner than usual but the mean was a bit fake. And truthfully that just seemed to piss me off. I was annoyed at how fake she was being. I really hate when she expresses how sore she is after doing a total of five minutes of working out through the entire forty minutes. For some reason that just angers me to no end. But I digress from the point...

As much as I hated this workout. As much as I thought it was terrible and sore. As sore as it made me and as much as it completely wore me out. This was a great workout. I did start seeing the inches fall away. It was not the large improvement that I was hoping for after this workout but there was definitely an improvement. And that's at least something. That just means I have to work harder and keep exercising in order to get the difference I was hoping to see this time around.

To wrap it all up, I'm so glad to be done with 6W6P. I am ready to move on. In fact, as you read this I have already moved on to the next workout. Don't worry I'll let you in on what I'm doing now here soon. But if you are looking for a ab workout, I would recommend it. I would say give it a shot, but be prepared to be exhausted. Be prepared to want to throw your weight at the TV. Be prepared to be sore and exhausted for six weeks. Just be prepared. That's my warning and that's where I'm leaving this!
