I thought it would be fun to take Addison outside to the play in the snow. She even has her own sled. But the problem was that it was really cold. And we don't have a snowsuit for her. So that would mean that I would have to layer her up before we go outside and I'm not sure that would go over well. It seemed silly to spend ten-fifteen minutes getting her dressed for her to spend two minutes outside. If she could walk I might have considered it because she might enjoy it more.
So since we weren't going out. We would just have to bring the snow in. And since I'm not about just shoveling snow into the house, I grabbed our pumpkin that we put Halloween candy in and filled it up with snow. I put down a towel, grabbed her gardening tools and let her at it.
However, it was somewhat less than exciting....
That goober!
She had absolutely no interest. She couldn't have cared less. Stella was interested at least. She stuck her head right into the bowl. But the kid didn't want anything to do with it.
I tried at least....
I should add that something a little unfortunate happened a bit later. So I might have just left the bowl of snow sitting on the towel in the entryway. Well it turns out that Addie is a bit more interested into it once it melts and becomes water. A little too interested, which resulted her in dumping the melted snow (aka cold water) down the front of her. It didn't go over well. Yeah, that might have been my fault. Oops....
Let's just say that I'm really glad I didn't spend all my time getting her layered up for her to have no interest in snow. Maybe next blizzard I'll just throw her into a pile of snow and make her get over her thing of touching/trying new things...
