Worse Than a Lego

If you have kids then you have probably have had the misfortune to step on a toy of some sort. You've probably stubbed your toe running into a toy. You've probably muttered some not so kid-friendly words under your breath even. It's not fun. It hurts. What is it about kids' toys that make them so painful?!

So I bet you can guess where I'm going here.

This is the toy in question. It is the D puzzle piece in her name puzzle. And it's evil. It was laying in wait for me. I'm quite certain of that. So it's official. We will be dropping one of the 'd's in Addison's name. From now on she is Adison.

My foot will never be the same. It's bruised and slightly swollen. It hurts every time I put weight on it. No lie. Like I said, it's evil. And so much worse than any toy I have every stepped on. Seriously. My full weight went on that wood piece that sticks up. Again, it hurt so bad.

I know I have years of stepping on toys still ahead of me. It's unpleasant. And it just plain sucks. I don't recommend it. It's why I always pick up every night so I don't end up treading across any toys in the middle of night. Stepping on toys suck.

And remember her name is spelled Adison. Stupid second d.
