Dear Drill Weekends...

I really don't like you. You come around every month like it or not. You take the hubs away and leave me without a break for a weekend with the kid. I support the hubs unconditionally but seriously you are annoying. When he returns from you, he is exhausted. Although he is usually in a pretty good mood because he is done with you for the time being. So think what you want, but I think he likes me more than you.

I should also tell you that I hate you even more when you keep him overnight. I hate sleeping alone. What do you need him for anyway? And why couldn't you at least pay him more for that time he's away from me overnight even though it might seem silly because he's just sleeping. But maybe if you just paid me for time loss then, that would be great.

The kid also isn't a fan of you even if she doesn't completely understand that you are to blame. She really loves her daddy and you keep taking up his time. You should be ashamed of yourself. Keep a daddy away from a daddy's girl. Shame on you!

I know I've been doing this for five years but I never seem to completely get used to you. You are a bit annoying and always seem to find ways to make things more difficult.
