2. I had a "holy crap" moment last Tuesday. Last Tuesday I posted the blog about Addison's lack of walking and her appointment and whatnot. It got 163 views! My normal is about 30 some views per post, but this was 163. Wowza!
3. Remember why back when to February-March when Rob was gone for three weeks with the Marines. Well, he was in Korea for some training. Before he went, I told him I wanted something from Korea. I didn't want something made from another country that was shipped to Korea, but something made in Korea. So when he arrived home, he gave me a couple different things. A fan, a compact and a bookmark. All of which were beautiful. The bookmark had some writing on it and Rob not being Korean speaking didn't know what it said before buying. Not a big surprise since he doesn't speak Korea. Well, after I opened it to use it, we found the translation: It's called Yellow Butterfly
"Cabbage field free of pesticides
Drew many green caterpillars
It now attracts a flock of yellow butterflies.
I provide half the yellow butterflies in the neighborhood
My laziness has brought something to behold."
Yup, weird. But the bookmark is pretty.
4. We went swimming while we were in Omaha. Addison loves the water. I'm thinking about getting her into some swim classes. She loves the water.
5. When we were are Toys R Us about a month ago, I asked a Magic 8 ball if Addison would ever walk. It told me "don't count on it." Then Rob asked and it said, "I wouldn't be on it." Stupid Magic 8 ball! What do you know?! Granted, she's not walking all by herself yet, but she took two steps all by herself. Take that!
6. Every year I do a reading challenge, this year I have already had to up my challenge because I hit the number of books I wanted to read really quickly and even then I'm still 11 books ahead of schedule. I have gotten a lot more reading done this year than I expected to.
