Woe to Technology: Part II

So a week or so ago I posted about my technology issues (check it out here). Well I think I regret that now. It's all true still. The technology police didn't come and take away all of my technology or anything.

But....

The day I posted that post, I dropped my computer.

Yes, it's as horrible as it sounds. So my computer is no more. The computer that my computer guy
worked so hard to save is no more. The computer that had all my pictures, videos, documents saved is gone.

I'm a little heartbroken.

But luckily thanks to me having previous computer issues, we had purchased an external hard drive to back up everything. But I still lost some stuff. About two weeks of pictures videos. So in the whole scheme of things, not so bad. It could have been way way way worse.

Never thought I would be thankful for computer problems.

So we headed off to Best Buy once my computer guy got home from work and I stopped grieving over my loss (okay, so I might still be doing that a little) to get me another laptop. And I know what you're thinking, that seems like a HORRIBLE idea by now. And the truth is that it might actually be.

This would be computer number ten. TEN! That's insane. Who keeps buying me these computers? Isn't my face on some technology killer most wanted list by now?
