In case you were wondering, yes we do still have her. And for those who had no idea, we have a cat. She used to get talked about a lot more but turns out a kid is more interesting than a cat. Not that Stella doesn't have her moments. She also doesn't tend to have temper tantrums so there are days I prefer the quiet and simplicity of Stella.
Stella's doing good. We took her to the vet last month and she's healthy. She has some red gums which suggest the start of gum disease. She's also overweight by about a pound or so. So Stella's had some changes. We got her some treats that are supposed to help with the gum disease but it turns out that they make her vomit everywhere. We are done with those because I'm tired of cleaning up green vomit all over my house. We switched Stella's food to a high protein, low carb which the vet suggested. We are trying to stick with dry instead of wet because I don't want to pay for the more expensive food. However, if the food we bought isn't working then we'll have to look for another option. We'll cross that bridge when we get there though.
Otherwise Stella is good. She's patient as always with Addison. She just wonders around this house doing her thing - whatever that is. She's just Stella Cat.
