Yesterday
Despite the yuck start to the day and the almost constant cloud cover, we got out and went out to Deanna Rose for the first time this year. I have learned that since we were last there, Addison has become more stubborn and digs her heels in if she doesn't want to go the way you want to go. But she's 2, so I guess that's just my curse right now. Otherwise she had fun. She played a little on the playground but I wouldn't let her go down the slide because they were wet. She fed goats, which she loved and actually was brave enough to let them eat out of her hand this year. She watched the cows. She tried out a ride-on trackers and quickly decided she didn't like it. We ended up staying about 45 minutes and it ended with me having to carry a crying kid to the parking lot but mostly it was good. (And for the record the crying wasn't about us leaving but about her not leaving her water and snack on the table there. Apparently it was a big deal.)
