Dinner Brought To You By: Totally the Bomb
Here's What You Need:
6-8 pieces of chicken, floured and placed in 9x13 inch pan
2 cups hot water
1 tsp (or 2 cubes) chicken bouillon
1 bay leaf
Onion salt to taste
Mushrooms
1/4 tsp thyme
3/4 cup heavy cream
Here's What You Do:
Dissolve bouillon in water and add the bay leaf, onion salt and mushrooms. Pour over chicken. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
Fifteen minutes before it's done, add thyme and heavy cream then finish baking uncovered.

Tonight's meal looked nothing like the pictures on the website. I followed the steps - which by the way ones I printed from the website was missing a step that was listed on the website. Weird.
This meal was okay but mostly it was just disappointing. When you call this meal Best Ever Chicken, you better live up to that standard and nope, it really didn't.
I don't even know how you could fix this but it was pretty disappointing. And it took so long! I think I could have used more chicken and more mushrooms so maybe I needed more to go with all the liquid. Also not using expired bouillon may help but at this point no clue.
If you try this, then let me know how it went for you and if it turned out closer to what the original recipe looked like (check it out through the link above) or if you have an amazing chicken recipe, please share below!
