A Pregnancy Story: Just Keep Swimming

I'll admit that my kids's rooms (that's weird to say) are my favorite rooms in the house. I love how they have come together. About a year ago we had moved Addison to the bigger room so we could keep the smaller room as the nursery. I knew I wanted to go with a different theme this time around which meant painting. However when I painted I wasn't pregnant so I wanted to pick a gender neutral color.

The only thing I knew for certain, boy or girl, was that we were going to do another vinyl on the wall and this one was going to say "Just Keep Swimming." Throughout our miscarriages and secondary infertility journey, that saying became a motto for me. So I thought it was fitting for the wall of this baby's room.

I had some ideas of what I wanted to do if we had a boy but really no clue what I was going to do if we had a girl, so I was lucky it's a boy. I got some prints from Etsy, reused the crib sheets from Addie's big girl room and the changing table sheet, got a new mobile, and rearranged some.

Sometimes I like to rock in that room and imagine Connor here and just remember what it took to get here. The room has definitely gone through a transformation and I love it.

I really do love how this room has come together. It has gone through quite the transformation to get to this point.

The only thing missing is the 11x14 frame which will have his stats but that will have to wait until he is born obviously.

But for now I love how this room has come together. It is easily one of my favorite rooms in the house and I'm sure he will love it as much as I do.
