Turns out that we don't. We actually started Body Revolution several months ago but struggled to keep with it. We actually had a couple false starts before we decided we needed some kind of "reward system" to help keep us motivated until it became a habit. So we decided that if we stuck with this program for a month - 5 days a week - then we would get something we wanted.
Apparently that was enough to keep us going because we just finished our four weeks and we got what the "rewards" we decided for ourselves.
Beyond getting something from working out, it feels good to have completed the first month of this program. We had a good month. Some days went better than other days. But we got through it every day (well weekdays at least - we never planned to do more).
I could definitely tell a difference as the days went by that I was getting stronger and I could do more. The first month of cardio is always the worst for me. There are a couple moves in Phase 1 Cardio that is hard on my knee and the suicides are just awful but those are behind me now.
It's actually a nice feeling knowing I only have two months to go. I also know that the exercises only get harder and I am only going to sweat more and be more sore and struggle to keep up. But in the end, it will feel good to be done. There's something to completing something you didn't think you could do.
To see what I had to say about the first time I did this program check out here, here and here.
