7 Years

Seven years ago today my life completely changed. I met this boy who I had been talking to online for about a month for a date. I thought he talked quietly and walked funny and I definitely noticed the gap between his teeth (Turns out he was nervous and didn't realize he was talking so quietly, we still argue about the walking funny and I love his gap). But we talked and laughed and flirted (as much as we flirt) and connected. I thought he was cute and knew without a doubt I wanted to spend more time with him.

And I was thrilled when he joked about watching a sci-fi movie next time. He was interested too.

Apparently we were more than interested because seven years ago today was my first date with the love of my life. Even now I feel like the luckiest girl because I got to marry my best friend and hero.

I don't talk much about our marriage on the blog because it's ours and definitely not something I think needs to be shared with the world. But in case any of you were wondering our marriage is good, stronger than ever. We face things together and conquer them together.

I don't know where I would be if we hadn't spent the day together seven years ago today. It was the first day of the rest of our lives together so we celebrate today. It's a special day because it was the start of us.

Seven years ago today our lives changed forever and I wouldn't have it any other way!
