I loved loved loved The Midwife's Confession by Diane Chamberlain. I had never read her before but I couldn't put her book down. It pulled me through and I was dying to know what happened halfway through the book leading to staying up too late a couple nights just so I could finish the book in just a couple days. That is definitely one I recommend!
Although I swore I wasn't going to read as many series this year, I have a hard time staying away from them. I love getting into the story and the characters over many books. It's a weakness of mine to go to series. But I don't regret all the series and I will probably continue to read series. I just love them.
Obviously listed above is the list of books I read this year. And here's the breakdown of stats from this year.
So now it is 2017 and it's time to make another goal. So I have gone back and forth about my goal for this year. I have clearly shown that I read more than 15 books in a year (or the first four months of the year) and that was even with a new baby and being a new mom of two. So I clearly need to go higher than 15 but with other goals I have for myself this year, I don't want to go too high.
So drumroll please.....
Okay so that's not that impressive but like I said I have other goals for 2017, plus two small kids and one who is getting more mobile and active by the day. So I think 30 is a respectable number and one that I will easily be able to hit next year.
