Turns out when you have a full knee brace on, it's hard to move around and get up off the floor or down on the floor or walk. Crawling is impossible. So chasing a 10 month old who wants to check out the world, is really hard.
But last weekend we came up with a solution.
Yup, that's a blown up swimming pool (and really bad quality pictures, I posted a picture last weekend on my Instagram) in the middle of my living room. But ya know, it worked. That boy couldn't escape. Addie loved hopping in and out of it and filling it with toys. But Connor was trapped.
It worked great for a day. But after they went to bed, it occurred to me that I can't actually reach him. The hubs was around and his knees work just fine. But my poor knees in my awful knee brace just don't right now, so the pool disappeared by the next morning. But the hubs loved that for a day he didn't have to chase or intercept Connor from doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing.
So there you have it, a way to pen in your kids with soft walls and plenty of room.
