August 1 was when I opened this shop that had been in the works for months before. I got this idea in my head to make jewelry and with the encouragement of my husband I jumped in. It's has been an awesome journey. Not that every moment has been without its hardships as I have had to learn more about running a business. But I have loved getting to where I am.
Right now I am just three orders shy of 100 sales, which will be an amazing milestone to hit. Although the milestones of the shop and the sales have been amazing, to me the biggest thing has been doing something for myself.
I am a stay-at-home mom and that of course is my number one job but sometimes all I feel like is a mom so having something that is completely separate. Something that is all my own and makes me feel productive and a sense of achievement. I am proud of myself for doing something me from a few years ago wouldn't have dared to do.
