I'm not going to lie, I'm in a little bit of denial that I actually have a one year old now. How did that happen? This last year has sailed by!
These two are so different to me. They both have so much life and curiosity but they are so different in their approaches. Addie was curious in a cautious way whereas Connor just jumps in and goes for it.
Physically I see a lot more differences now. For one he has a lot more hair than she did at the same age. But apparently they were close in size. Connor weighs in now at 26 pounds 3 ounces, and apparently Addie weighed 26 pounds 4 ounces. However Connor has her on inches. He is 32 inches tall and she was 31.75 inches. So I'm going to have another tall one. The funny part is that he's only in the 77 percentage on his head which is the first time either kid has been under 90%.
So this is the end of the Connor week. I guess it's time for me to accept that he's one. This last year has flown by and he has changed so much. He's just so awesome, even if he completely drains me and wears me out most days. I think I'll keep him.
