Rob
Well that goofy fella has been all kinds of busy lately. Pretty much all related to work stuff. It's really nice that he can actually leave work at work because life would be pretty sucky around the house if he couldn't. Still in the IRR (Individual Ready Reserve) with the Marines which means no drilling and no time away from the fam, which we are loving. He is definitely the favorite the minute he walks into the door each evening - I think they are just tired of me by the time he gets home - and the kids can't get enough of them. And I love that they have a dad who will get on the floor and wrestle with them.

First can I just say that my hand is super weird in this picture. I don't know what's going on but there it is. Well for me, I'm been keeping busy. Trying to get into a good cleaning routine here at the house. I just can't seem to find a good one that works for me that I actually stick to, but I'm trying. I'm been working on Our Beautiful Mess Shop stuff to make sure I'm ready for the holidays. I definitely have a big seller in the planner charms I added to the shop recently. Those are selling like crazy which I love, but that means I have to do some buying to do some restocking so I'm ready for Christmas. Other than that I am just finding this and that.
Addison
I have done a lot of talking about her this last week since it was her fifth birthday on Sunday! She's five! How did that happen?! She's doing awesome if you haven't been following along. She's loving school and doing great. She is doing some reading at home and lots of writing. She is running around like a crazy kid. She's bright and beautiful and unique and just awesome. (Check out Monday's blog post to read more about her.)
Connor
Oh that face just kills me! This boy is keeping me on my toes that's for sure. He just has so much light and life. He's been doing awesome. He's always busy with something and checking out the world. There is just so much of the world to see and he wants to check all of it out. We are falling into a pretty good routine with Addison back in school and for now things are working. He seems to be getting his 2 year molars or something because just yesterday he was not feeling good. He's not my late sleeper but that's all he's been doing and he's drooling a bit more, not eating a ton, and trying to chew on whatever he can on his right side. I hate teething because my happy boy disappears and a calm and energy-less boy appears. But otherwise he's doing good. Not talking much but he's repeating. Anyway, he is doing good and mostly always happy and just another awesome kid.
Stella
Yup, she's still around. I used to talk about her a heck of a lot more before we had kids. I guess that's just how it goes. She is actually Connor's buddy. As much as Connor tries to lay on her and sometimes pets a little too hard, she just loves him. But at night as it has started to cool down she is my buddy. She always sleeps next to me but as it cools down she moves closer and closer to me then in the dead of winter she will be right on top of me. She's well adjusted to the house now - thank goodness. She has lost a little weight - about two pounds - which is good because she was overweight and you could tell she wasn't moving as much. She just Stella cat.
And there you have it - our family update for the fall. I told you it was a bit lame but hey sometimes boring is just fine, especially since we had so much going on last spring and summer. We will take the lame right now.
