My goal for 2017 was 30 books which is about what I have been choosing for the last few years. I had a 52 books in one year back in 2012 but that is definitely not going to happen again until the kids are at least in school (or technically I read more than that in a year if I can count all the kids books I read!).
I didn't go crazy with my books this year but did top my goal by 4 books. Once again I ended up reading a lot of series. I just can't seem to stay away from Nora Roberts' books. I just enjoy the light read that they are and make no apologies for the fact that I read so many of those books. I also reread a lot of books this year which I'm hoping to test the waters more with new books this year however. I won't lie and say that I won't reread any books because let's just be honest, it's going to happen.

As for 2018, I have set another goal of 30 books. Like I mentioned before I hope to find some good books I haven't read before, but we'll see how the year goes and what I end up picking up.
