I don't know what the deal was with today but it was a struggle to hit the word count but I did it! I don't think I did any quality writing but I did the best I could and if I were to do more with this story, I might not keep much of what I wrote today. It just was okay. It was a tough writing day. But I hit the halfway point so that's exciting!

Day Twelve
I'm carrying on with my outline today and I'm still struggling some. I guess this is the third week lull because writing just isn't coming easy today. But I'm trying to add in my details and give it attention. I still love my story but just feeling blah about the actual writing today.

Day Thirteen
I didn't get started writing until pretty late today. I had other things that I needed to take care of so I didn't end up writing until late afternoon and had to finish that evening. It wasn't as hard to get to that word count today as it was the last two days but man this week has been a little rough.

Day Fourteen
Today's writing probably came the easiest than it has all week. I'm at a pretty exciting part of my story though so it all just came out naturally and easily today. So that's at least something.

Day Fifteen
Today went pretty well and I'm excited about where my story is. However I am getting really nervous because I still have over 16,000 words to go and I'm almost out of outline. Not good. So there's that. But that's a problem for a different day. For now I'm just going to focus on the story I have going on and deal with that later.

Day Sixteen
Well I only have one more scene to go then I have finished my story. Yikes! I think my problem is that I have been doing a really good job of just writing and not self-editing too much but sometimes I am still self-editing in the sense that I am not adding enough details to scenes. Which means I already know several areas where I can go back and add much more details. And before I have only one more scene left in my outline to write, I will have to go back. It definitely takes a while when I go back through and have to work like that to get my word count in. But I'm several days ahead and thank goodness for that. Today's writing went well though. It was an exciting scene though and one I was looking forward to so it was fun writing today!

Day Seventeen
I have finished my story. I have to admit that I love my story and I like my writing but it's not the best writing I have ever done. Some of that was because my heart wasn't in writing today and some of that was because I just didn't know how to phrase what I wanted to say. Endings are hard. And what's even harder is figuring out where to go from here. I guess I go back to the beginning and figure it out.
