#1: Timer. But this isn't just any timer, my friends. This timer can keep track of three different times. And I love it. I'm not sure what I would do without Ted (just named it Ted - but good name, no?) now.
#2: Garlic press. Saves me a lot of time when I cook with garlic. And I cook with garlic a lot.
#3: Whisk. You always need a good whisk. I actually have two good whisks and one so-so whisk. This is my metal one and it's awesome. I also have a plastic one I love. The so-so one is a cheap small one, but it's good for confined whisking spaces.
#4: Zester. I love this thing. I didn't originally register for it when we got married because I didn't think I would ever need one, but I use it quite often for any number of zesting or mincing needs.
#5: Bowls. These bowls are awesome. They don't slide around the counter and are just great for mixing. There is a small size that you can't find in stores but you can get online and one day I will actually get that small size. These are awesome bowls.
#6: Scrapper. This is great for moving cut things from the cutting board to wherever I need it. I also works for manual mincing, but it chops and works good with dough. It's a very multi-purpose gadget.
And there you have it. My six favorite kitchen things (yes, we'll just go with things). I love all the different kitchen things I have and they all have their own uses, and definitely make cooking easier (which I definitely need - especially right now, sleep deprivation anyone?).
