My Girl Likes History//Happy Friday

Okay, well technically she likes Disney's version of history. But close enough. (She is only 16 weeks after all). Okay, so she really didn't have any idea what she was watching, but she liked all the colors and songs and voices. But still it's a little history Disney style.

We've been watching Pocahontas. In small increments when she is refusing anything else, namely a nap. And she seems to be quite fond of it. When Pocahontas was deciding if she wanted to marry Kocoum, Addie looked at me. I told her she coudn't marry Kocoum and she frowned. I then told her she would have to just take it up with her daddy and I got a big smile. Then she looked back at the movie. That girl is a dork. And so cute!

She's also pretty fond of the songs. I have been singing 'Colors of the Wind' to her and she loves it! However when I started singing 'Just Around the Riverbend', she got really upset and I got that pout again. So we just stick to 'Colors of the Wind' now. She is a pistol!

Go watch yourself some Pocahontas.
