What's With the Face?

This last weekend we finally carved our pumpkins. We decided to not do the pumpkin patch thing this year since we just plain run out of time and Addie would have no clue what was going on. It's less fun sometimes because she can't walk, so we would have to hold her the entire time. So we got our pumpkins from Price Chopper - high rollers here - 3 for $12. How convenient since we needed 3 pumpkins! Of course Addie won't be doing any carving this year - we try to keep the sharp knives away from our one year old. But it's still fun to carve one for her.

Before we go into the pictures, I should mention that I am the world's worst pumpkin carver. I am dead serious. I am so bad at carving pumpkins. I enjoy it, but I just plain suck at it. Like I said, What's with the Face? I am just a horrible pumpkin carver. I was going for cat eyes, but then I messed up and the eye just kept getting bigger and bigger until I decided to just go with one, big eye. Another year of poor pumpkin carving. I bet you can barely wait until next year when the poor carving continues. You know you are dying to see what my next pumpkin will look like.
