Well this is awkward. So you remember back at the end of November when I came out with this post. I made these goals that I wanted to achieve in December. Well, December is over (but I'm sure everyone knows that), and I am finally coming back to talk about what actually happened during December.
So here we go: I didn't work out. I tried a couple of times but my heart wasn't into it and it got me nowhere. I did better about having less caffeine. However, I did have days where I had more than one caffeine drink in a day, but overall I did much better. I also did better about drinking more water. I'm still struggling with that one on a regular basis but I'm trying to drink a heck of a lot more water and I'll probably be trying to do that for awhile. But in all fairness does anyone really drink enough water? The good news is that I have the breakfast thing down. Addison and I have breakfast together every morning. I get way too hungry if I don't eat.
But like I said awkward because my biggest goal for December was to get back to working out and I failed completely. Not that's not true. I didn't fail completely. Just mostly since I did work out like two days.
But the good news is that I am in my second week (three days in) to working out again. Yay! I decided that I could do this. That I would do this. And the week following Christmas, I got myself up at 6 am and did it. I was incredibly proud of myself and even more proud of myself when I got back up the next morning too. And the next - not that's not true, that was New Years Day and I skipped that day. But the next two mornings after that I got up and did it again and again. And all with a cold.
And once again this week came and I did it again.
So at least this post isn't all bad news. December sucked. I failed horribly at my work out goal. But my new goal of getting into shape, of getting healthy, of feeling better is underway and going great. I feel awesome. I feel motivated. I feel ready. I feel inspired. I'm not saying this is a 2014 goal or resolution. This is a lifetime goal. This is a forever goal. So who's with me? Who's getting healthy for life?!
