Black Thumb // Happy Friday

I'm not exactly known for my gardening skills. As in I have none. I seriously just kill things. Don't worry I checked, the kid is still alive. Stella's even still kicking. But when it comes to plants, they just come here to die. It's a little sad.

So I was fully expecting for either plant in our front to survive winter. I didn't do anything with them. I didn't know if I was supposed to. I probably wouldn't have even if I was. My dedication to gardening is pretty much nonexistent.

So you can imagine my surprise when I looked out the window and saw this:

I know, right?! I was thrilled. For one I have never seen it flower so that's pretty cool. And two, it's still alive. Yay, go me!

Although I suspect that my  lack of involvement is actually the reason why it is still alive...

Isn't spring grand with all the flowers come back? We all need a little more green in our lives!
