Fruit, Flowers, Appliances and Four Years! Oh My!

Who comes up with these crazy gift ideas? Because there's nothing my husband wants more on our 4th wedding anniversary than a pear, a rose, and a dishwasher. Rest assured that I didn't give him any of those three. I hate roses. I forgot to buy a pear. And we already bought a dishwasher so it just seemed repetitive at this point.

Plus this day is about so much more than fruits and flowers and appliances. This day is about the day that I married the love of my life. This is the day that I stood up in front of friends and families and declared my love for him. This is the day we started our marriage because as fun as the party was, this day was about that. This day was about a marriage, not about a wedding. Although it was pretty awesome and I had a lot of fun.

It's hard to believe that it's only been four years since we were married. Honestly it's hard to remember my life before Rob. He has made my life so wonderful and me so happy. We have been through a lot in our four years of married bliss, but through it all it has strengthened our relationship and marriage.

It has been a wild ride for us the last four years. And I couldn't ask for anyone better to go on that ride with me. I feel so blessed and lucky to have him in my life.

Here's to many many more years to come.
