We found a time that worked and an afternoon free and off we went. Addie was amazed when we first walked into AMC. There was so much to look out that she just couldn't take it all in. She pointed out everything to me and watched the people moving around getting food like she had never seen anything so cool.
Then we headed to the theater. She continued to point things out in amazement until we got to the theater door. She didn't want to go in but wanted to explore down the hall. I waited by the theater while Rob took her down the hall. We encountered our first problem when she came back because walking into the theater was dark and she wasn't having any of that. Rob ended up having to carry her quickly through until she could see the big screen then she was sold.
We found our seats and immediately went for the popcorn. Siting with a napkin on her lap filled with popcorn she ate and watched the giant screen happily, giggling and talking. Once the movie started she quieted down, although she had to tell her several times to keep her voice down. But mostly she actually did really good. She had several refills of popcorn and laughed during the movie. Once she was done with the popcorn she moved between my lap and Rob's lap but still did really well.
As for the movie, it was a great movie. It was really cute and I liked the message of the movie. Pixar and Disney always tend to make really good movies. It was really fun taking her to the movies. It's something we will do again when another good movies come out. She had a blast and it was fun to go to the theater to see a movie.
