Dear Emma:
Another month is here again and once again you are a month older which is just so hard to believe. You are growing so fast. We are now closer to you being one than you being born. I know we technically hit that point when you turned 6 months and one day but the realization just hit me. It's just hard to believe.
The biggest thing from this last month was that you got your first tooth. It was a rough go getting that tooth but as soon as it cut through, you were back to your normal self. You have been already working on another tooth so you have been a little out of sorts lately which hasn't been fun.
Your favorite thing to do lately is just sitting up and playing. You don't want to be laying on your back and especially not on your tummy. You just want to sit. You can see everything. You are really well balanced actually, although you do tend to fall over still. You have done a couple of face plants on the ground but your nose is fine so I guess it hasn't left any permanent damage. All you want to do is sit and play and see everything.
You have been sleeping great lately. Your naps have been lacking lately, but you have been sleeping well at night. You usually go to bed about 8 and lately you haven't been getting up until about 7, which is nice to sleep in. You are still doing about three naps a day depending on the day. Sometimes you only take two if those two are long naps, but lately with the teething you have been taking shorter naps which means more.
You are doing some talking but nothing that is clear. Sometimes it sounds like you might be saying mama but everything is still so random that we can't be sure. Some days you can't stop chatting but other days you hardly make a peep. I guess it's hard to get a word in with your big brother and big sister making so much noise.
You are such an amazing little girl. You have so much life and spirit. You love playing and watching. You love watching your big brother and sister run around, and you can hardly get enough of them. You are taking in world. We truly can't imagine you not being apart of our family. You are just so amazing and beautiful. I love you so much.
