5:34 -- While I'm still working out Emma wakes up. Rob goes in to feed her an 8 ounce bottle. Mostly she wakes up at 7 but lately she's been up earlier. Luckily she takes the bottle then goes right back down.
5:45 -- I finish my workout and head upstairs for a shower. I'm so sweaty today - I definitely need it.
6:08 -- I'm ready for the day - well I'm dressed, the ready part is up for debate really. I take the rest of the time until I have to get the kids up to write and read. I fell asleep for about 15 minutes.
6:18 - Rob heads to work.
7:00 -- Yet another alarm goes off (I live and die by alarms right now). This one means it's time to wake up the kids. Not sure I'm ready for this day.
7:11 -- The kids are all dressed so we head downstairs for breakfast.
7:38 -- The kids are done with breakfast so they get some play time before school.
7:55 -- Another alarm means it's time for school.
8:27 -- Emma and I have journeyed home again. We have some chill play time before Emma's first nap.
9:03 -- I take Emma up for her first nap of the day. We do a little reading then I put her down. She's not so thrilled but she settles down on her own.
I have lots to do today. I put some clothes in the dryer then get to work on designing. It's weird because I'm working on Christmas kits even though it's 90 degrees outside. But I'm trying to get as ahead as I can. So I work on Christmas kits. Work work work.
11:00 -- Another alarm means it's time to get Emma up for her bottle.
11:15 -- Yet another alarm. That one means Connor.
11:36 -- We are home again, and I can tell you that it's going to be a long afternoon (I seem to good at choosing the worst days to do these Day in the Life posts).
11:47 -- Lunch.
12:36 -- Emma goes back to playing. Connor is still having lunch but he was a little later sitting down in the first place.
1:11 -- Connor and Emma up for naps. Connor laid down on his bed to read while Emma fussed for a bit.
2:20 -- Connor is up and playing behind me while I work in the office. I have some designing and cutting to do. Not the naptime I wanted but whatever.
3:00 -- Another alarm - gotta get Em up and give her another bottle.
3:17 -- More downtime playing before we go get Addie
3:25 -- One more alarm means it's time to get Addison
3:52 -- Home again.
I let the kids take turns playing on the iPad and pretty much completely forgot to take pictures of anything for a bit of the afternoon.
5:00 -- I go make dinner.
5:24 -- We have dinner of Blue Apron. Emma has some purees.
5:43 -- Rob gets home
6:13 -- The kids start cleaning up while Rob heads out to mow.
6:55 -- Addie starts working on homework while Connor colors. Emma keeps herself busy.
7:19 -- I take Emma up to eat and get ready for bed while Rob takes over homework duty.
7:30 -- Emma is in bed (and not happy about it but what can ya do?!) and I go get Connor ready for bed.
7:38 -- He was already in his pajamas so it was pretty easy. We read to Jurassic Park and he was ready for sleep.
8:05 -- Addie finally heads up for a shower
8:45 -- Addison is finally in bed. We ended up having some smoke alarm issues and had to change out a battery in the one in her room and sometimes she gets really sensitive about noise especially when she's tire. So she had some issues settling. Needless to say she did get up twice but she did finally get to bed.
Then honestly we went to bed not long after. Rob has been getting up earlier to get into work earlier and I get up at 5 every morning to exercise so we were both pretty tired. And that was our day.
